888poker is proud to announce sponsorship of the first-ever UK Cash Game Festival, which will take place from March 30 through April 3 at Aspers Westfield Stratford City, located at Montfichet Road Olympic Park, 312 The Loft, London E20 1ET, United Kingdom.
The five-day cash game extravaganza will run non-stop for 120 hours with sponsored feature tables, high hand bonuses, and special customer offers throughout the event.

What to Expect

Previously held at Olympic Casino Tallinn, Estonia three times over the past two years, the Cash Game Festival has moved to the UK for the first time and is expected to draw more than 3,000 players from 50 countries. Among the games being spread throughout the festival are No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, 9-Game Mix, Open-Face Chinese (OFC) and the action-inspiring Sviten Special, which you can learn more about by clicking here.
The Cash Game Festival will spread pretty much any game requested, which is made all the more special given all games will be raked as normal with no added cash game surcharge!
“We are all geared up for 120 hours of non-stop cash game action and one of the most ambitious poker festivals to ever be held at the property," said John Scanlon, Head of Poker at Aspers Westfield Stratford City.
"The staff rotas have been specially created to ensure that it is possible for games to run continuously for this period - we don’t want anybody to miss a minute! We intend to offer as many forms of poker at as many varied stakes as possible, but will also be available to set up games on request, subject to demand.”
Players interested in participating in the Cash Game Festival at Aspers can reserve a seat by preregistering online here.

More Than Poker on the Table

In addition to all the great poker action on tap, the Cash Game Festival will also offer activities outside the poker room including welcome drinks at a local microbrewery on Wednesday, March 30 from 18:00 – 22:00.
Other planned activities include:

  • Thursday, March 31 from 18:00 – 22:00 -- Sports, Games and fun w/ Ping Pong Challenge
  • Friday, April 1 from 21:30 – 23:30 -- Festival reception with drinks at the casino Sky Bar
  • Saturday, April 2 from 19:30 – 23:00 -- Dinner and music at a classic establishment in Canary Wharf
  • Sunday, April 3 from 14:00 – 18:00 -- Sightseeing with a Twist. A private tour visiting two or three London-based micro breweries.

"I want the experience of the atmosphere the Cash Game Festival brings," said poker player Andreas Löf Nilsson. "I think there will be a lot of people enjoying the 'party spirit' as well of the poker grinding. The best mixture – laughter combined with competitive poker. It does really feel like it is a good time of the year. Spring is coming, and winter is gone – time to spin the happy wheel and let loose the spirit and mind of your travelling body!"
For those unable to attend the event, fear not as you will be able to rail the action from afar as streaming and live updates from special feature tables will run throughout the festival at http://www.cashgamefestival.com.
